Made of high quality aluminium alloy, these cylinders are not only light in weight but are specially treated to take on large loads. These cylinders can also be supplied with long strokes. They are ideal for special applications like finger chucks, clamp applications and special chucks. High quality seals and controlled surface finish on parts ensure a long life for the cylinders. The connecting lines being flexible in nature ensure that no pressure is exerted at the cylinder housing. The grease lubricator provided for lubricating the shaft of the distributor, also acts as a seal to prevent air leakage Airtech also offers FLR unit (air controller unit) which injects air with a small amount of oil to provide lubrication to the piston and other moving parts.
These closed centre pneumatic cylinders can be supplied in three versions:
Single Chamber Cylinders: These cylinders, supplied with a piston in a single housing, are ideal when limited power is required.
Tandem Cylinders: These cylinders supplied with two pistons in a single or two housings, are ideal for applications where space is limited or added power is required.
High Speed Cylinders: Ideal for high-speed applications, these cylinders are meant for CNC machines. They can be offered with provision to fit proximity switches.
